Orlando Elite Concrete / Cost guide

How much does concrete cost in Orlando?

Start with the project type, layout and finish. Our preliminary planning model helps frame a budget before a contractor assesses your property.

Concrete driveway, patio, slab and stamped concrete prices

These are Orlando Elite Concrete planning rates. They are not verified contractor bids or a promise that every project fits the range. Rates are per square foot and should be matched to a written scope.

Concrete driveway layouts and installation costs

Straight-run concrete driveways

A direct driveway approach can simplify formwork. Confirm driveway width, parking capacity, apron connection, subgrade preparation, reinforcement and control joints. Our driveway planning band is $6–$23 per sq ft across different scopes and finishes.

Curved, radius and circular driveways

Curved formwork, a U-shaped drive or a circular turnaround changes layout and finished area. Ask for a measured plan showing turning space, borders and drainage. The driveway band is a starting point; it does not assign the same final rate to every shape.

Sloped or inclined driveways

Grade transitions at the street and garage, runoff control and access can add preparation. Have the installer review the slope and specify a suitable finish. Demolition and driveway replacement should be itemized separately.

Broom-finish concrete patio costs and finish choices

Broom-finish patio: $7–$13 per sq ft

A broom is drawn across fresh concrete to create surface texture. Discuss a light, medium or coarse broom finish, edge tooling, control-joint layout and slope away from the building. Texture should suit the intended use; no finish eliminates slip risk.

Integral color, borders and exposed aggregate

Integral color changes the concrete color; a contrasting border defines the perimeter. Exposed aggregate reveals the aggregate texture. These are different finish scopes, priced after the design is selected rather than automatically included in the broom-finish band.

Stamped concrete: $15–$22 per sq ft

Our mid-range decorative planning band covers discussion of patterns such as ashlar slate, cobblestone or wood-plank texture. Specify color, pattern, border, release treatment and sealer. Complex detailing or a stamped overlay needs an individual assessment.

What changes the final concrete installation price?

Removal, excavation and subgrade preparation

Confirm saw cutting, demolition, disposal, excavation, base material and compaction. Hidden site conditions can change the work. A replacement project and a new pour on a prepared site are different scopes.

Thickness, reinforcement and drainage

Loads, grades and ground conditions determine the design. The basic slab planning band of $4–$9 per sq ft is for simple nonstructural flatwork, not an engineered foundation. Confirm reinforcement, control joints and drainage in the proposal.

Access, approvals and finish requirements

Pump access, tight gates, small-job minimums, permits and decorative detailing may affect the total. Ask whether curing, sealer, cleanup and restoration are included. Obtain a written site-specific estimate before committing.
